And then along comes.....

Neelix Dream-cicle Belasaurius Stottlemeyer Dovolani Humperdink Kinkaid....and one-pound (dripping wet) orange and white kitten...what could we do?

See, we were in the feed shop getting food for our fur-babies and there's talk that this man who has a snake...a rather large snake....was due to show up and purchase a meal for said snake....and kitten was a possibility (a common meal for large snakes)...so we just HAD to purchase Neelix....to save him from a horrible (and believe me, it is just a terrible way to die) death....

The reaction at home? I told Jason "Happy Anniversary"....we let Kalli just "figure it out" as the day went on...Chakotay loves to drag Neel around by the leg or neck (it helps that kittens go all limp when their moms carry them like that)...but the best reaction was Belle...true to her mama character she just loved all over the little guy....right after she seemed to turn her head to he tummy as if to say, "funny, I don't remember BEING pregnant"....I think she likes this "having one baby at a time" idea.

B'Elana and Tuxedo J Bravo seem to have a serious case of "sibling rivalry" but have adjusted...the other animals...they seem to think we are crazy...

...and so we are.....

Another one?! My goodness, you're going to need to move soon just to make room for the growing cat population!

Hahaha, I think we are all mad! Not sure who needs therapy more, Rum Tum Tugger or me. My friend who had him for a while is still getting over the shock and said it would explain why he wouldn't leave her kitty alone-she is definitely a little female. We are waiting to see if any little ones follow, but I think he may be a little young to do too much damage. Hope all the animals settle together without too much trouble
